Rescuing animals

Stray Paws Loreto’s mission is to rescue dogs in Loreto, provide safe refuge, needed medical care and sterilization. When we rescue dogs, we provide voluntary quarantine in local foster homes, where they are rehabilitated emotionally and physically.

Spay & Neuter

Sterilization is a big part of what we do! Along with sterilizing dogs at spay and neuter clinics, the clinics aim to educate community members about the importance of sterilization and perform the procedures at no cost for those who may not be able to afford it.

Finding a HOME!

STRAY PAWS LORETO has sent many dogs to new homes in the United States and Canada! Please look at our adoption page for available dogs and complete the Adoption Form if interested.

Rescued animals gobble up money faster than we can raise it. It’s not their fault; they desperately and immediately need food, care, vaccinations and medicine, baths – you name it. An initial consultation with the veterinarian, including tests and vaccines, costs a minimum of $100 USD.
